American Well of Boston, Massachusetts has named Harry Kim SVP of Strategic Partnerships. Kim joins the company from Samsung Health, where he was a global business lead. His career includes a decade spent managing the $11 billion Hewlett-Packard global health and life sciences strategy portfolio.
Bruce Schonbraun has been named chairman of the Livingston, New Jersey-based Saint Barnabas Medical Center Board of Trustees. Schonbraun is head of real estate at FTI Consulting, Inc. and has served on the boards of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (“NAIOP”), the National Association of Real Estate Companies (“NAREC”), the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (“NAREIT”), the International Real Estate Trade Organization (“IRETO”), and the Zell-Lurie Real Estate Institute at Wharton. He has MBAs in economics and international business.

Most recently, Eason was HR Director overseeing corporate services at The Andersons. Akro-Mils of Akron, Ohio has named Dana Rafferty its Executive Director of Sales and Marketing. Most recently, Rafferty was Director of National Accounts at Hoshizaki America; she has also worked at Illinois Tool Works and holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Boston University.
Leidos of Reston, Virginia has named Ethan Dmitrovsky president of its subsidiary, Leidos Biomedical Research (Leidos Biomed), and Laboratory Director of the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research (FNLCR). Dmitrovsky, the former provost and EVP of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, succeeds retiring FNLCR president David Heimbrook, who will stay on as a consultant and member of the Leidos Biomed Board of Directors.
Kaiser Permanente of Oakland, California has named Ruth Brinkley president of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals of the Northwest. Since 2012, Brinkley had been CEO of KentuckyOne Health, overseeing the integrations of Jewish Hospital & Saints Mary and Elizabeth HealthCare with the Saint Joseph Health System, the University of Louisville Hospital, and the James Graham Brown Cancer Center. She began her health care career as a nurse, and has been president and CEO of Carondelet Health Network in Tucson, Arizona and of Memorial Health Care System in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Medical Facilities Corporation of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has named Robert O. Horrar its president and CEO, promoting him from COO of Medical Facilities. He succeeds Jeffrey Lozon, interim President and CEO, who will continue as a director of the Company. Horrar has spent 25 years in health care at organizations like Community Health Systems, where he was a division president, and Humana.
Sarnova Inc. of Dublin, Ohio, has promoted Tri-anim Health Services SVP of Acute and EMS Sales Tom Metcalf to President, Acute. Prior to joining Sarnova, Metcalf worked in sales at GE Healthcare, Boston Scientific, and Johnson & Johnson.
