Empiric Health of Salt Lake City, Utah named Justin Schaper its Chief Technology Officer. Schaper was most recently SVP of Analytics for Intermedix, and had been Chief Information Officer for PSR, which was acquired by Intermedix.
TouchCare of New York, New York has named Rob LaHayne its new CEO; LaHayne, an employee benefits executive, joined the company from Namely. Namely also added Codi Gill its VP of Client Success and former Virgin Pulse marketing executive Natalie Austin as marketing director.
BSA LifeStructures of Indianapolis, Indiana named Vicki Mettlach its senior healthcare operations planner. Mettlach joins BSA from Castle Rock Adventist Health Campus/Centura Health. She has a University of Phoenix MBA and has also completed a Chief Nursing Officer residency program.
Northwell Health of New Hyde Park, New York has named Richard Miller its EVP and Chief Business Strategy Officer and Michele Cusack its SVP and CFO. Both succeed EVP and CRO Bob Shapiro, who is retiring after 17 years at his position. Before joining Northwell in 2008, Miller was previously CFO for NYU Hospitals Center, and will remain chair of the Northwell Health Plans Holding Company. He has an MBA from New York University. Cusack is a CPA who has been with Northwell since 1996, and has been deputy CFO and SVP of finance since 2016. Cusack has a BBA and MBA from Hofstra University, administers the Northwell Board of Trustees’ finance and audit committees, and is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board for Hofstra University’s Zarb School of Business.
Castlewood Treatment Centers of St. Louis, Missouri has named Jennifer Crute Steiner as CEO. Steiner was previously CEO of InnerChange and has been a division VP for Davita Health Care Partners, VP of Marketing and Communications at Health Care REIT, And assistant VP of Strategic Initiatives at HCR ManorCare. She has a Univesity of Michigan MBA.
MORE Health Inc. of Foster City, California has added Fabian Carrillo as its Southern California Regional VP. Carrillo is a former National VP with MetLife and has been an SVP with BEST Life and Health.
Varian Medical Systems of Palo Alto, California has named Terilyn Juarez Monroe its Chief People Officer and SVP of Human Resources, replacing the retiring Wendy Scott. Monroe was most recently Chief People & Culture Officer/SVP of HR at Acxiom, and previously spent 13 years at Intuit where she was Chief Diversity Officer and Director of Talent Engagement.
AMRI of Albany, New York has added Paul Feuerman as SVP, general counsel, and head of business development, replacing Lori M. Henderson, who departs the company. Feuerman has bachelor’s degree from Trinity College and a Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School.
Schrödinger Inc. of New York, New York has named Dov Goldstein its CFO. Goldstein was a managing partner at Aisling Capital, and has been EVP of Finance and CFO at Vicuron Pharmaceuticals, CFO at Loxo Oncology. Goldstein has been director of Venture Analysis at Healthcare Ventures, where he led due diligence for new investments and business development for portfolio companies. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MD from Yale University School of Medicine, and a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Stanford University.
Chartwise Medical Systems of Wakefield, Rhode Island has named Steven Mason its president and COO. Mason joins ChartWise from MedeAnalytics where he was SVP and GM of Enterprise Performance Management Solutions. Prior to MedeAnalytics, Mason had been co-founder and CEO of OnFocus Healthcare, which was acquired by MedeAnalytics in 2014.
