Critical Alert Systems of Jacksonville, Florida has named Suzanne West, RN, its Director of Clinical Services. West has more than 20 years of experience in emergency, ICU, and cardiac critical care settings with companies like Medhost, Emergin-Philips, Vocera, and Extension.

Corporate restructuring at Rayence Inc. of Fort Lee, New Jersey, has led to the promotion of its Northeast Regional Zone Manager Christian Anderson to Director of U.S. Sales. Bill Cioffi, its Vice President of Business Development, will retain that role, and Marketing Manager Bill Nicholas, who joined the company in August 2016, has been elevated to Director of Marketing.

Population health management vendor eQHealth Solutions of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has added Liz Tingley, RN, BSN, as its Project Director for the Colorado Prior Authorization Request (PAR) Program. PAR supports the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing in improving health care access and outcomes for Medicaid enrollees. Tingley joined eQHealth Solutions from Pinnacol Assurance, where she was the Director of Population Health Management.

Zelis Healthcare of Bedminster, New Jersey, has named Patrick O’Keefe its Chief Commercial Officer. O’Keefe will have responsibility for sales, account management, and commercial operations. Formerly the General Manager of Anthem|Empire BlueCross Blue Shield, he has also served as Northeast Region Mergers & Acquisitions Partner for Digital Insurance, National Practice Leader for UnitedHealth Group, and Vice President of Key Accounts and Regional Vice President of Tri-State Small Business for United.

Royal Philips of Amsterdam, the Netherlands named Roy Smythe, MD, its Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Health Informatics. Smythe joins Philips from Valence Health, where he was CMO; he has also been CMO at Avia, Medical Director for Innovation for Baylor Scott & White Healthcare, the Roney Endowed Chair and Professor of Surgery, Medicine and Molecular Medicine and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Baylor Scott & White Health System and for the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. Smythe’s clinical career began at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Steve Miff has been named President and CEO of the Dallas, Texas-based PCCI, an affiliate of Parkland Health & Hospital System. Miff, who has been GM and Senior VP of Sg2 and Senior VP of Vizient, succeeds PCCI founder and President-CEO Ruben Amarasingham, MD, who is stepping down to dedicate his efforts to PCCI sister organization, Pieces Tech. Miff holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees in biomedical engineering and a BA in economics from Northwestern University.

Valley Presbyterian Hospital of Van Nuys, California, has named Deborah Gac its Vice President of Human Resources. Gac joins Valley Presbyterian Hospital from Providence Health and Services, where she was Director of Human Resources; Gac has also been Senior Vice President of Human Resources at City of Hope in Duarte, California, and has previously worked at Scripps Health in San Diego. She holds a BA in psychology from San Diego State University and an MBA from National University.
