Advanced Ultrasound Electronics (AUE) has reached an agreement to represent Sonostar Wireless probes in the U.S.
“These probes are excellent for human point-of-care applications, sports medicine, EMS and veterinary markets. Sonostar probes have FDA approval. These probes have excellent color imaging quality and connect via Wi-Fi to iPads or iPhones and to Android devices as well. The app is provided at no charge,’ according to a news release.
There are a variety of probes available, including 4 convex models, 4 linear models, 2 double headed probes, 2 transvaginal probes and a 4D bladder probe.
The probes come with a two-year replacement warranty and offer a three-hour battery life before recharging. Available accessories include a wireless charger, needle guides, “smart glasses,” an I-Pad cart and an i-Pad table stand.
