Edward E. Partridge is the new CMO of the Birmingham, Alabama-based Guideway Care. A gynecologic-oncologist, Patridge served for many years as director of the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center, and has worked to improve access to quality health care for underserved populations and to reduce racial and ethnic health disparities.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona has named Pam Kehaly its president and CEO. Kehaly was most recently president of the Anthem Inc. West Region, and replaces retired president and CEO Richard L. Boals, who spent 45 years at the company, and COO Sandy Gibson, who had been interim president since Boals left.

Serco Inc. of Reston, Virginia has named Karen Shields as its VP of Health Sector. Shields was most recently Deputy Director of the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). She has also been CMS Executive for Operations, and director of its Consumer Information Insurance Systems Group and Customer Liaison and Support Services Division. Shields also spent nine years of her 30-year public-and-private-sector career with Lockheed Martin.

Seattle Children's Hospital of Seattle, Washington, has appointed Zafar Chaudryas its SVP and CIO, effective Nov. 6. Chaudry was most recently CIO at Cambridge University Hospitals in the United Kingdom, where he was also CIO at the Liverpool Women's and Alder Hey Children's Hospitals. He has been global research director at Gartner, consulting editor for Hospital Information Technology Europe Magazine, and a member of the teaching faculty at the City Colleges of Chicago.

MedeAnalytics of Emeryville, California, has added Scott Hampel as SVP of Product and Strategy and Tyler Downs as Chief Technology Officer. Hampel boasts nearly two decades of experience, most recently as VP of Solutions Management and VP of Corporate Operations at TriZetto. Downs was VP of Development for Trizetto Provider solutions (now Cognizant), has worked as an engineer at Microsoft/Skype, and was Chief Architect at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America.

Holon Solutions of Alpharetta, Georgia added Julie Mann as SVP of sales. Mann was most recently VP of regional sales at Optum and has been a regional sales director at Wellcentive (now part of Philips Healthcare). She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Le Moyne College.

Health Catalyst of Salt Lake City, Utah, has named Patrick Nelli its chief financial officer, moving prior CFO Dan Strong into an advisory role through 2019. Nelli has been with the company since 2013; prior to that, he was a private equity associate with GTCR Golder Rauner, and had been a financial analyst for McColl Partners.

The Irving, Texas-based Vizient has announced that president and chief administrative-and-financial-officer Byron Jobe will succeed retiring president-CEO Curt Nonomaque in April 2018. Jobe started with the company in 1994, left in 1999 to work in health care technology, and returned in 2007. His career has included positions with PwC, Baylor Scott & White Health, and Healthvision.

ADVI Health of Washington, D.C. has added Michael Kolodziej as VP and Chief Innovation Officer. Kolodziej was most recently with Flatiron Health, served as National Medical Director for Oncology Strategies for Aetna, and has chaired the P & T Committee for US Oncology. He is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology.

AMRI of Albany, New York, has added Joseph D. Sangregorio as SVP and chief human resources officer (CHRO). Sangregorio was most recently with VP and CHRO at Rank Group Ltd., and has been VP and CHRO at Viad Corporation. Sangregorio holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Seton Hall University.

STAAR Surgical Company of Monrovia, California has added Scott D. Barnes as its Chief Medical Officer. Barnes joins the company from Womack Army Medical Center, where he was Chief of Ophthalmology Services at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Barnes began his medical career in 1986 as a research assistant in the Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School/Children's Hospital in Boston. His other military appointments included at Madigan Army Medical Center, Wilford Hall Medical Center/Brooke Army Medical Center, and Martin Army Community Hospital.

DBC Pri-Med of Boston, Massachusetts has added of Sue Novak to its clinical team. Novak is a former U.S. Air Force major who received her medical degree from New Jersey Medical School and completed her residency at St. Louis University/Belleville Family Practice.

International Medical Group of Indianapolis, Indiana has added Steve Paraboschi as EVP. Paraboschi was most recently CEO of AXA Assistance USA, and has been GM and VP of its Global Healthcare TPA and Travel Services business. He also worked at The Guardian Life Insurance Company, MetLife, and sits on the board of directors for the U.S. Travel Insurance Association and the French American Chamber of Commerce of Chicago.

The American Osteopathic Association of Chicago, Illinois named Brian G. Kim its VP of accreditation and secretary of the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation. Kim had been AOA associate general counsel, and has 32 years of combined experience as a jurist and attorney. He is a former adjunct professor of law at the University of Baltimore, University of Maryland and George Mason University.

Global Kinetics Corp. of Minneapolis, Minnesota has named John Schellhorn its president, CEO, and a member of its board of directors. Schellhorn was formerly president and CEO of Monteris Medical, has been Chief Commercialization Officer for Barrx Medical, and was president and CEO of Softscope Medical Technologies.

PDI of Orangeburg, New York named Kent J. Davies its president and COO. Most recently, Davies was COO of Haemonetics Corp., and has spent 25 years with companies like 3M, Stryker, and Kimberly-Clark.
