BioReference Laboratories of Elmwood Park, New Jersey has named Victoria L. Laughman its EVP of Sales. Laughman joins the company from the John Muir Health System of California, where she served as director of physician outreach and development; she was president of Caretinuum LLC, a Dallas-based firm she founded, which markets hospital laboratory services to local physicians.

Palo Alto Health Sciences of Danville, California has added Amy Perry to its board of directors. Perry is CEO of the Hospital Division and SVP of Integrated Care delivery at Atlantic Health System, and has been President of Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.

KEPRO of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has named Paul Solomon its CFO. Solomon was most recently CFO of the $350 million VetCor Professional Practices, LLC, the business development of which he played an integral role in advancing.

LDI Integrated Pharmacy Services of St. Louis, Missouri has added Albert Thigpen as COO. Thigpen brings more than 20 years of experience in pharmacy benefit management, retail pharmacy, integrated delivery models and managed care organizations to the position. Most recently, he was SVP of Industry Relations and Supply Chain Management at Catamaran, a $17 billion corporation acquired in 2015 by OptumRx; a licensed pharmacist, Thigpen also previously worked at CVS Caremark, HealthNet, Kaiser Foundation Health Plans, and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Verisys of Alexandria, Virginia has added Chief Revenue Officer Valerie Mondelli, and SVP of Sales Joe Montler, both recently of McKesson. Mondelli has an MBA from Georgia State University, a pharmacy degree from West Virginia University, and is a registered pharmacist. Her work experience includes tenures at Eli Lilly & Company, Derivion, and CheckFree Corporation. Montler has 25 years of health care experience at McKesson, Misys, Delta Health and Shared Medical Systems, a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s of education from Penn State University.

Transforming Age of Bellevue, Washington, has added Michael Connell as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With more than 17 years of leadership experience in not-for-profit senior living, Connell was previously the CFO at Asbury Communities in Germantown, Maryland, at Ingleside Presbyterian Retirement Community in Washington, D.C., and at Lourdes Residence in West Palm Beach, Florida; he was also a health care auditor at Ernst & Young. Connell succeeds Jerry Schoeggl, who will continue as the company’s assistant treasurer.

EHE of New York, New York has added David Levy as its new CEO. Levy succeeds Shaun Francis in the role, who will continue to serve as the company’s chairman of the board. Levy started his career as a practicing family physician, founded Franklin Health, Inc. and served as CEO until its sale in 2004, and led the global health care practice at PwC until 2013; most recently he was CEO of AposTherapy, and he currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Welldoc, Inc., AposTherapy, Cedar Gate Technology, and SulAmerica.

Sullivan, Cotter and Associates, Inc., of Minneapolis, Minnesota has added Deana Kraft as Director of External Affairs. Kraft has 20 years of business and consulting experience, including as VP of HR at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and as VP of Total Rewards and HR Technology, for OhioHealth in Columbus, Ohio.

GPB Capital of New York, New York, has named Dotty Bollinger Managing Partner in charge of its Healthcare Strategy segment. Bollinger was formerly CEO of Integrity Healthcare Advisors and President and COO of Laser Spine Institute.

WIRB Copernicus of Princeton, New Jersey has added Steven Herne and Michael Cioffi to the leadership team of MedAvante-ProPhase, its electronic clinical outcomes assessment (eCOA) arm formed in May 2017 with the acquisition of MedAvante and ProPhase. Herne will be its Chief Commercial Officer; most recently, he was Chief Commercial Officer and EVP at Bioclinica eHealth Solutions, and has held various global leadership roles with eRT, ICON, Covance, MDS Pharma, Inveresk, and Quintiles. Cioffi will be SVP of Clinical Operations; he was most recently External Innovation Lead with the Roche Innovation Center in New York, and has held executive level leadership positions with PRA, WCT and INC Research.

Thomas H. Lee has been named president of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society, and a member of the Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Foundation board of directors. Lee holds a medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, completed his orthopaedic residency at the New York Orthopaedic Hospital at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, and completed a fellowship in foot and ankle orthopaedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He is a foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeon in private practice in Pickerington, Ohio.
