Leif Murphy has been named the President and CEO of the Knoxville, Tennessee-based TeamHealth Holdings, succeeding retiring President-CEO Michael D. Snow. Murphy was most recently the Executive Vice President of LifePoint Health, and has been the CEO of DSI Renal, Inc.

Sharron Gargosky has been named Chief Clinical and Regulatory Officer of  OncoSec Medical Incorporated of San Diego, California. Since February, Gargosky has been OncoSec’s Head of Clinical Development and Operations on a consulting basis. She has previously served as the Chief Technical and Operations Officer at Prima Biomed, Ltd.

Attila Poka has been named the new Chief Medical Officer at CoNextions Medical of Sandy, Utah. Poka previously was Chief of Orthopaedic Trauma at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio and has been a Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Trauma of Ohio University. Poka is widely published on orthopedics and shock trauma, and will focus on the development of clinical education, recovery protocols, physician training, research, and grant writing at CoNextions Medical.

James McDermid has been named the Chief Human Resources Officer at CryoLife, Inc., of Atlanta, Georgia. McDermid was most recently the Group Vice President of Human Resources for the Cardiac and Vascular Group of Medtronic.

Growth equity firm Leerink Transformation Partners of Boston, Massachusetts named Vinay Shah its Vice President. Shah has worked as a Senior Analyst at Longitude Capital, an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, and co-founded clinical trials technology start-up Sherpa Clinical.
