Bruker of Billerica, Massachusetts has named Falko Busse president of its BioSpin Group and an executive officer of Bruker. Busse joined Bruker BioSpin in 2015 as research and development executivevice president, having previously held successive leadership positions at Philips Healthcare, including as CTO of global MRI and GM of growth businesses in image-guided therapy and data-driven radiology solutions. He holds a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Bonn in Germany.

Privia Health of Arlington, Virginia has named Shawn Morris its CEO. Morris joins Privia from Cigna-HealthSpring, where he was president and COO. He has managed physician-led IPAs, a multi-specialty medical group, and began his career as a public accountant working with physician practices.

Adventist University of Health Sciences of Orlando, Florida, has named Sandra Dunbar its provost. Dunbar is currently assistant dean of professional development and education at the Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences at Nova Southeastern University, and holds a Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) from Nova Southeastern University and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from NYU. She succeeds former ADU provost and current president, Edwin Hernández.

PHOENIX Rehabilitation and Health Services, Inc. of Blairsville, Pennsylvania, has named Joseph P. DiRenzo its CFO. DiRenzo has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, and most recently was director of finance for the Northern Hospital Division of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

HMC HealthWorks of Jupiter, Florida has named John McHugh its chief pharmacy officer (CPO). McHugh joins HMC from OptumRx, and has previously been a senior clinical consultant for OptumRx/Catamaran. He has a pharmacy degree from St. John's University and an MBA from Dowling College in Oakdale, New York.

BD of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey has added three new segment presidents in Medical Segment President Alberto Mas, Life Sciences President Patrick Kaltenbach and Interim Interventional Segment President Bill Tozzi.

Prior BD interventional segment president John Groetelaars has joined Hill-Rom as its president, CEO and a member of its board of directors. He succeeds retiring president-CEO John J. Greisch. Groetelaars spent a decade at C.R. Bard, including as group president from 2015-17, and has also worked for Boston Scientific, Guidant Corp. and Eli Lilly.

Encoda, LLC of Tampa, Florida has added Adrianna Iorillo as its director of revenue cycle management (RCM) services. Iorillo has more than 25 years in healthcare information technologies.

The Denver, Colorado-based National Jewish Health Board of Directors has named attorney Rich Baer its board chair, succeeding Blair Richardson, who remains with its executive committee of the board. Baer is chief legal officer for Liberty Media Corporation, and has been executive vice president and chief legal officer of UnitedHealth Group. Baer is a 1979 graduate of Columbia University and a 1983 Duke University law school graduate.

MaxCyte of Gaithersburg, Maryland has named Claudio Dansky Ullmann its chief medical officer (CMO). Dansky Ullmann joins the company from Infinity Pharmaceuticals, where he was most recently senior vice president and head of clinical development; he has worked with Takeda Pharmaceuticals, at the Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program of the National Cancer Institute, and was a researcher at the National Institute of Health. A native of Argentina, Dansky Ullmann holds an MD from the University of Buenos Aires and trained in medical oncology at Guemes Private Hospital in Buenos Aires.

The Washington, D.C.-based Institute for Functional Medicine named Cary Sennett its president of medical education and research, a newly created role. Sennett is a board-certified internist and fellow of the American College of Physicians; most recently, he was president and CEO at the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. Sennett has a Ph.D. in health policy and management from MIT, and an MD and MPhil from Yale.

Quadrant Biosciences Inc. of Syracuse, New York has named Peter Cohen to its board of directors. Cohen chairs the board of Cowen Inc., is a trustee of Mount Sinai Medical Center, vice-chairman and lead director of the board of directors of Scientific Games Corporation, and a director of Safe Auto Insurance.

The Irving, Texas-based Adeptus Health added LeAnne Zumwalt to its board of directors. Zumwalt is group vice president of DaVita Inc., and served on the board of directors of The Advisory Board Company for 17 years.

GT Biopharma Inc. of Los Angeles, California has added Peter Kiener to its board of directors. Kiener chairs the board of directors at Cue Biopharma, serves on the board of Tetragenetics, and was most recently chief scientific officer (CSO) at Sucampo.

Bardy Diagnostics Inc. of Seattle, Washington, has named Alan J. Levy executive director of its board. Levy was most recently CEO and chairman at Chrono Therapeutics, and serves as a board member of several public and private companies including Intuitive Surgical, Proteus Digital Health and Seattle BioMed.

KEPRO of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania has named Cynthia Osterling its vice president of solutions and implementations. Osterling joins the company from Optum, where she was most recently senior director for emerging operations. She holds dual master’s degrees in business administration and health services administration from the University of Michigan.

Varex Imaging Corporation of Salt Lake City, Utah, has added Walter M. Rosebrough Jr. to the company's board of directors. Rosebrough is president-CEO and a director of STERIS plc; he has been president and CEO of Coastal Hydraulics Inc., and spent 20 years with Hill-Rom Holdings Inc., including as its president and CEO.

PaxeraHealth of Boston, Massachusetts has added Warner Pyne III as vice president of U.S. sales and Paul Dandrow as CTO. Pyne’s career includes appointments at Philips Medical Systems, Dynamic Imaging, and Fuji Medical Systems; most recently, he was national sales specialist for NTT DATA Services. Dandrow has held business development positions with InSiteOne Inc., Superior Consultant Co., and was Global Delivery Director for NTT DATA/Dell Services.
