One of the biggest obstacles to supporting disabled Americans is raising awareness of the ubiquity of the conditions of their lives.

Last month, I talked about the causes of micromanagement. This month, I’m providing a briefing on the cure for that ailment.

I feel like there are tremendous financial pressures on medical equipment companies today. Some of my recent experiences indicate that they are getting as creative as possible to sustain their profitability.

A hospital in Minnesota was having issues with a third-party manufactured circuit and looked to Dräger’s anesthesia expertise in evaluating possible solutions.

In 2016, Operation Smile is adding new care centers in Ecuador, Nicaragua, and Paraguay, bringing its total to 28 globally.

CARTI specializes in medical, surgical and radiation oncology and diagnostic radiology, and supports clinics dedicated to imaging, infusion, research, and support programs. This year, the center became the first U.S. provider to install a Toshiba Infinix 4D CT with the Infinix-i angiography system and Aquilion ONE ViSION Edition CT system.

These economic times have certainly forced changes in the industry. These changes have hit home with me as we look at reorganizing the way we do business.
